Take a couple of deep breaths.
Recall that you are in the presence of God.
You are loved and blessed.

Luke 1:46b–55
46 And Mary said,
“My soul magnifies the Lord,
47and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
48for he has looked with favor on the lowliness of his servant.
Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed;
49for the Mighty One has done great things for me,
and holy is his name.

God did great things in Mary’s life because she said “Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word. (Luke 1:38) What is my attitude towards God? Do I view myself as my own person or as God’s servant? God loves me and He blesses me and because of that my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.

How can I be more open to allowing God to work in my life?
How can I be more like Mary, giving praise and worship to God for all He as done?

Pray to God in your own words
or perhaps use the prayer below.
Holy God
I commit myself to being your servant.
You are all I want.
You are all I need.
Thank you for your love and presence.
Thank you for saving me.
Draw me closer to you.
Allow me to server you.
