Take a couple of deep breaths.
Recall that you are in the presence of God.
You are loved and blessed.

James 5:7
7 Be patient, therefore, beloved, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits for the precious crop from the earth, being patient with it until it receives the early and the late rains.

There was a time (in the first century) when the Church expected Jesus to return almost immediately. We don’t know when, we believe that He will. Over the centuries, predictions have been made, and have failed. So when is He coming back. We just don’t know. The important question is will I be ready. Whether I meet Him on the day of His triumphant return or on the day that I pass from this world to the next. Will I be ready. Will He be able to say well done good and faithful servant.
Am I ready to meet Jesus face to face.
If not what do I need to do to become ready.

Pray to God, using these words or others as you see fit.
Holy God,
I am patient but I do look forward to your coming.
When I pray the Our Father, I mean it when I say thy kingdom come, thy will be done.
Thank you for forgiveness
Thank you for freedom
Thank you for salvation.
All of my sins.
Allow me to deepen my relationship with you
And let me know your will in my life and
Give me the strength and desire to follow your will in every area of my life.
