Take a couple of deep breaths.
Recall that you are in the presence of God.
You are loved and blessed.

Psalm 37:1
1Do not fret because of the wicked;
do not be envious of wrongdoers,
2for they will soon fade like the grass,
and wither like the green herb.

What does it take to get what you want. Some want things so much that they will do anything to get it, even sin, even hurt others. Having goals and desires is not wrong, but achieving them by any means necessary is. Jesus taught gratitude. Give thanks for what we have. Control your passions, in 1 Johon 2 15-17 we read “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
How can I put God first in all that I do?
What am I thankful for today?

Pray to God, using these words or others as you see fit.
Holy God,
Thank you for all that I have, my life, my health, the food I eat and the water I drink.
Thank you for your presence and love.
Thank you for showing me the way and for sacrificing yourself that I might live
I place all my trust and faith in you.
Take away any foolish or sinful desires I might have
And give me a stronger desire to be close to you.
